Immigration Team

Our team has over 29 years of collective experience in delivering high quality work in all matters relating to Asylum, Immigration and Citizenship matters. They have particular expertise in complex cases, involving Judicial Review, Deportation and Appeals.

We have three members of the team who may work on your matter. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Sherali Lakhani, Partner and Head of Immigration Department.

Sherali Lakhani – Partner

Sherali Lakhani is the head of our team and has more than 20 years’ experience in all types of Immigration cases. Sherali has been working in this area since he qualified and has helped thousands of families and individuals.

Sherali qualified as a solicitor in 2001 after gaining a law degree from Thames Valley University. He completed his legal practice course from De Montfort University in Leicester and thereafter completed his training with Athi Kulisra Smith Solicitors. He became a partner in 2013.

Sherali has also completed several professional development courses in Immigration, Asylum and Citizenship matters.

Anika Madni – Associate

Anika qualified as a solicitor in 2020. She attended the Bedfordshire University where she completed her law degree.

She has been working in our Immigration department for the last 6 years. She has gained experience in dealing with entry clearance applications, Human rights application and all applications for leave to remain. She has developed good skills of drafting statements before the tribunal. She is very soft spoken and commands respect from her clients.

Priscila Dittrich – Associate

Priscila qualified as a solicitor in November 2018. She attended the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.

She has been working in our Immigration department for the last 2 years. She has gained experience in dealing with entry clearance, leave to remain and indefinite leave to remain applications as well as Human rights and naturalisation applications. She has developed good skills of drafting statements before the tribunal. She is polite and has particular skills to pay attention to detail.
